Each year high school seniors, whose parents are members of the Grandmont Community Association, are eligible to apply for scholarships given by the GCA for post secondary education. Scholarship Applications are available in The Grandmonitor each spring. After completing all the requirements outlined on the application, the applications are submitted to the committee. The Scholarship Committee carefully processes each scholarship application in order to make a determination of award.

Ever since 2015, the GCA scholarship has been funded through the Art Fair and donations.
Since the first Scholarship was awarded in 1997 we have had forty one Grandmont Scholars that have received this award. Last year we did not have an Art Fair so that source of funding was not available.
All of us, as well as the general public, greatly admire the accomplishments of our 2018 Honorees, Rebekah Long and Ria Reno. On Saturday, December 29, 2018 at the Grandmont Rosedale Development Corporation, 19800 Grand River Avenue, a reception was celebrated in their honor with family, friends, and community members.
