2018 was another successful year for our patrol. We patrolled our 42 blocks for 1,650 man-hours and drove for 2,735 miles in service to the Grandmont community.

All Patrol members received new cold weather jackets with our logo embroidered on them so the lettering won't wash or wear off. Also, Patrol members were rewarded last June with a chauffeured trip to the fireworks where we had a great dinner and entertainment aboard the Princess boat at the foot of Hart Plaza. We had the best view possible without the hassle of driving, parking, walking and dealing with the large crowd. It was a very memorable experience that was enjoyed by all!

Our patrol is supported by local, county and state law enforcement. Coach Muhammad for the most part is responsible for the patrol reaching the high level of recognition and respect throughout the law enforcement community. But due to unforeseen circumstances, Coach Muhammad had to step down.

During the recent election held at our February patrol meeting, I, JAMES LIDDELL was elected President of GRANDMONT PATROL #4. I don't know if anyone can fill the shoes of our last president, COACH, but with the continued help and support of our neighbors and community, I will work to help this patrol continue to grow and remain effective. This means we need more of our neighbors to step up and be a part of the solution. We only ask for a couple of hours a month. We sincerely appreciate all the hard work of our patrol members and encourage continued participation in this important mission to keep ““GRANDMONT, THE HOME OF GOOD NEIGHBORS!”
